ZAITOON New Lahore City under the able and visionary leadership of Mr. Ayaz Anwar and Mr. Ejaz Anwar were quick to realize that residents of the housing society would need an international standard school to make sure that the children of the society get quality education without creating a lot of hassle for the parents. Management believes that; quality education at the doorstep would pay off in terms of higher productivity of its residents for generations to come. It is one of the best ways to ensure quality growth. They know that; collective skills, knowledge, and other intangible assets are more important than just to develop concrete mortar and tar blocks.
With this backdrop, management of ZAITOON New Lahore City was motivated to open an international standard school which would make quality education accessible for children of residents and surrounding areas. Land for the school was allocated roughly three years back to open Cornerstone School (A project of University of Lahore). The dream has now come to reality. Cornerstone School New Lahore City Campus is now fully functional in the premises of ZAITOON New Lahore City. Classes have officially commenced and they are open to admissions for anyone looking to get their children enrolled in there. The school provides quality education for all children who wish to take admission and study there.
Here, it is imperative to discuss the efforts that have gone in to making this project a success. The CEOs of ZAITOON New Lahore City and University of Lahore, coordinating staff from Cornerstone School and the Joint Ventures Department from ZAITOON New Lahore City, all have made commendable efforts to make this into a success. A special mention for Mr. Mubashir Hassan Khawaja (General Manager Joint Ventures and Collaborations in ZAITOON New Lahore City) who has worked tirelessly for this project and ultimately his efforts have borne fruit.
In addition to qualified staff, the school has fully equipped classrooms, libraries and playgrounds which makes it one of the best in the business. Top quality teaching and regular extracurricular activities will be ensured balanced growth of your kids. Currently, the area PHASE one of the school is 23.5 Kanal which will accommodate 300 to 400 students. Construction on phase two will be started at the end of this year then school will accommodate 2500 to 3000 students.
Inauguration/ribbon cutting ceremony for Cornerstone School New Lahore City Campus (which is located in block A of royal enclave, road number 1 near Sundar Raiwand road) was held on Monday, November 4, 2019 and was attended by Mr. M.A. Raoof (Patron in chief University of Lahore), Mr. Awais Raoof (Chairman University of Lahore) Ms. Wajeeha Raoof (Director Cornerstone School) representing Cornerstone School, Mr. Mubashir Hassan Khawaja (General Manager Joint Ventures), Mr. Maaz Mansoor (Head of Marketing ZAITOON New Lahore City), Mr. Muhammad Ali (Head of IT ZAITOON New Lahore City), General Manager Security ZAITOON New Lahore City and Mr. Haroon Gulzar (Content writer ZAITOON New Lahore City). Ribbon cutting was followed by tea and snacks in order for the representatives of the two organizations to meet and greet. It was decided that the two organizations would carry on the good work ahead as well. Special dua was also made on the occasion for the betterment of the society, school and the people involved in making this happen.
Young students at the school presented bouquet of flowers to the guests and seemed happy with the school.
