[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]After a long year of a hectic routine and pandemic threat, a good family outdoor activity was just what the doctor ordered for people of Lahore to end the year on a good note and leave all the bad times behind. People can get an opportunity to relax their mind and enjoy themselves. In the last month of the year 2020, an exhilarating and colourful funfair was arranged by Zaitoon New Lahore City. It was a three-day event with open invitation and free entry for families. All pandemic SOPs were strictly followed to ensure safety of the attendees. Below are the exciting highlights of day 3 of the event.
On the third or the last day of this funfair, a large number of families, individuals and other guests attended and enjoyed the event. The most attractive thing for all was the diversity of this funfair. The very first activity to attract the audience was a puppet show. After this, a clown show was organized, Mini Circus Act, a Juggling show, a puppet show, storytelling show, Live Music Concerts were organized with the said sequence. The Block-C park of Zaitoon New Lahore City Phase II was beautifully decorated to enhance the overall ambiance of the event. There were also food-stalls of ‘channa chaat’, ‘dahi bhallay’, ‘biryani’, pop corns, ‘pakoras’, ‘haleem’, ‘Kashmiri Chai’, French fries, and many more items. Apart from eateries, stalls of face painting, embroidery, books, Mehdni, fun games, horse riding, Jumping Pad, swings, were main attraction for the families. Prizes were also distributed among the visitors by ZAITOON’s management through a lucky draw.
The event was also broadcasted through live streaming on all social media pages of ZAITOON. 9-year-old, Manahil, when asked whether she was enjoying the event, replied with all smiles “Yeah, of course, I’m. I am quite happy to be here with my parents who also came to this funfair. We ate different things. I enjoyed some swings. It is a new thing for us. Many of the people said that they attended the event on more than one day since they had a lot of fun the first time so they came back with their families to attend the event again.
