Zaitoon New Lahore City to be more accessible
Good news for everyone!! Zaitoon New Lahore City, the flagship housing project of Zaitoon will become more accessible after the construction of Ring Road. SL-3 which is currently under construction and will pass through Bahria Town and open at NFC Phase 2 which is just one kilometre away from Zaitoon New Lahore City entrance.
This will not only make Zaitoon New Lahore City more accessible, but the property prices will also increase by manifolds once construction of the interchange is completed.
To provide a little perspective, in the last decade or so, Lahore realty market has shown impressive growth. Not just in terms of property prices but also infrastructural development. From new housing societies to various commercial projects, the demand for property in Lahore has increased exponentially. So much so that much like Karachi and Islamabad, the city’s property market is reaching saturation levels in terms of land availability. Hence, seasoned land developers are now expanding their projects to the outskirts of Lahore.
These housing societies are laden with various amenities and facilities for the convenience of their residents. However, being on the outskirts add hours to their commuting, especially if the residents are travelling from their respective housing schemes to the main city.
However, due to the construction of Ring Road, the travelling issue is being catered to. Not only has this 85 kilometre highway that encircles Lahore has made commuting easy for everyone, but it has also had a significant impact on the property prices of housing societies within Lahore. According to data available, since 2015 to date, property prices in Phase 5 DHA increased by 74% whereas, Bahria Town witnessed a rise of 33%. On similar lines, property prices in Sui Gas Housing Society and State Life Housing Society increased by 46% and 45% respectively.
The property prices of these societies will continue to rise throughout 2018 as various parts of the interchange are near completion. Zaitoon New Lahore City will also be among these housing societies as it is the only project in Lahore that will be accessible from five major access roads.
