Alhamdulillah, Jamia Masjid Zaitoon, New Lahore City hosted its first ever Namaz-e-Taraweeh this Ramadan whereby Holy Quran was completed in the Taraweeh prayers on the eve of 25th Ramadan ul Mubarak. Daily proceedings of Taraweeh prayers were well attended by the members of the community, surrounded areas, staff members, guests and passer-byes. Jamia Masjid Zaitoon has a beautiful interior with Quranic verses calligraphed in the motifs of its design.
The Masjid is fully air-conditioned with a capacity of over 1000 namazis. There is also a regular arrangements for the iftaari throughout ramadan in the premises of Jamia Masjid Zaitoon and hundreds of people open their fast at its premises. The iftaari arrangements, taraweeh arrangements and taqreeb-e-khatam-e-Quran was carried out on the special instructions of Mian Ijaz Anwar, Chairman Zaitoon, Mian Ayaz Awar, CEO Zaitoon & Qazi Farhat Ali, Partner Zaitoon to ensure that the community gets the best of comprehensive lifestyle amenities of a secured gated community.
